Update In The New Empower Network Program ENV2

By Bruce Hilden

There really has been a lot of yakking pertaining to "ENV2", which is the most recent update of the well-known internet affiliate marketing program, Empower Network.

Not a lot has been mentioned to this point regarding the details of what ENV2 delivers concerning developments to the popular Empower Network blogging system.

Here we'll go into the more significant modifications to this system.

What we're looking at here with ENV2 is a full renovation of the entire system, not merely a couple of basic modifications. It is a totally new platform.

It is being publicized as the blogging program that your Grandparents could use. Well, I don't know your Grandmother but these guys have really simplified things from a blogging standpoint.

The prior edition was essentially just a replicating install of Wordpress, along with the same settings and controls. While building a site with Wordpress is undoubtedly more simple than creating it from the ground up employing raw code, that was still way to perplexing for the average guy to just leap in and begin using. I found the previous version to be plenty simple for myself but I've been designing blogs for several years. I've seen numerous customers join and end up canceling merely because they could not follow the technical elements of the system.

Someone must have been paying attention given that the all-new release has really come through to keep it truly tech-dummy-proof.

People logging in to blog now will see four large icons at the top of their Control panel. One, a pen icon. Another, a video icon. Another, an audio icon. And the fourth being an image icon. Whatever you wish to publish, click the proper icon. Then a simple couple fields ask you for the relevant information, whether you are choosing to upload your information or post from some other specific location on the internet.

Unsure how something could get any easier and still make it possible for one to make a new post. One doesn't actually even need to be able to read.

In fact, the ability to edit the CODE of a new post has been removed for less confusion. Only the visual editor is still available. Though very knowledgeable Wordpress users, especially those who desire to create more sophisticated alignments, tables, etc. can find this restricting, for the common person this is much more comfortable and easy on the mind I would think.

The smart-phone mobile app is possibly the main "trick" offered by this brand-new upgrade. The app is expected to give people the ability to develop their business without having to be sitting in front of their PC. Examples are offered of individuals recording a video on their iphone, then with a single click, uploading that video and posting it to their Empower Network blog. Effortless. Quick. Seems really neat right? The catch is that one would need to be a subscriber to of the Empower Network video hosting service so as to make this work. It's an additional service and more spending most certainly, yet it does prevent YouTube deleting your videos that you worked so hard on.

The private video hosting service and the blog are designed to perform together to make this fast and simple. Regarding more expert bloggers who are presently employing their own video hosting service, as opposed to free services like YouTube or Vimeo, this won't be any sort of surprise. For those bloggers who were planning on just using YouTube, this can still be undertaken most definitely, but they just have to embed the YT video link into new post. Even though this is still many times speedier and simpler than it would be when using a normal Wordpress blog, it doesn't have nearly the same Wow Factor as being able to record, then click a button on your phone to have a new video blog posted.

Undoubtedly, the added simplicity will be in exchange for a decrease of customization and functionality. It is an upgrade for the masses, not the pro blogger.

Specifically, when you want to add an image to a blog post it takes just two clicks. You no longer have to mess with adjusting the size of the image, or the alignment. The image will automatically be sized so as to meet the width of the content area.

One more unique change: When customers log in to ENV2 they will now observe their social activity feed which contains the recent posts made by other EN bloggers.

And when one creates a new post it is up to that blogger to pick whether they want the new post displayed inside the activity feed and available for view to all their customers, affiliate down-line, or to just a certain group of customers who own a particular product. One can now choose who gets the notification so if you have posts which you want reserved for only your "Masters" customers, for example, you may do that.

One can also click a button and grab any of the posts that they discover in their activity feed and the new platform will automatically post the same to your own blog. Simple sharing. Convenient curation.

Thus it has become more simple, much less to know, and undoubtedly fewer annoyances for the average new blogger stepping into this sort of activity for the first time.
